Dr. Kal Parmar is a highly experienced sports and musculoskeletal physician who runs Elite Sports Professional Services in Moorgate, London. He treats a range of patients, from recreational athletes to elite professionals. Dr. Parmar graduated from Birmingham University in 1995 and completed surgical and sports medicine training in the UK and Australia, including at prestigious institutions like the Australian Institute of Sport.
In 2006, he became the Club Doctor and Head of Medical Services for Tottenham Hotspur, helping the team win the 2008 Carling Cup. He later joined Leicester Tigers Rugby Club in 2009, where he served for 13 years, helping the team secure three Premiership Titles and an LV Cup.
Dr. Parmar has extensive experience treating sports-related injuries and has worked with various national teams, including Australian rugby, hockey, football, and cricket teams. He also served as Team Doctor for multisport events such as the 2012 London Olympics and the 2015 European Games. A recognized expert in sports medicine and ultrasound, he teaches widely and holds multiple advanced degrees.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Parmar enjoys freediving, hot yoga, swimming and cycling.
